Mod Post: Round 3 Lightning Drabble Round (Open to Everyone!)

roebling and myself, almostblue) just want to say again that we are so incredibly grateful to everyone who has written, read, and commented for this third round of TBB. Thank you for your time and effort and talent! It's been amazing to see so much great enthusiasm and energy!
While we wait for the last few stories to get posted, we're going to hold a Lightning Drabble Round!
Before I get into what that means, I want to introduce this year's honorary mods for the lightning round -i_luv_tvxq, (you may know her as @TVXQluff) and akmongs (@himchanni), who runs bapfanfiction. They are both wonderful people who keep the fandom running through recs, comments and kudos, quietly and without much fanfare. We think they're great, and we wanted to thank them for all of their hard work over the years.
So as this round progresses, feel free to ask them questions as well! Ifroebling and I aren't around (or aren't...awake, ahaha, timezones /o\) they are here to help you out :)
Our hope is that the Lightning Drabble Round will be a fast, fun, low pressure opportunity for everyone to keep writing a little bit more! Here's how it will work:
1) If you want to participate, comment on this entry with a pairing you'd like to write. Please keep it to one comment per pairing.
2) A mod (any mod!) will reply with 3-5 random one word prompts.
For example, you might comment with the pairing DaeJae. A mod will reply to your comments with the prompts: apple, blonde, sneakers, failure, nuna
3) You have until September 13th to write as many drabbles as you want based on those prompts! All the drabbles you write should be under 1,000 words. They can use any of the words, all of the words, whatever you want. Post your fics as replies to the mod comment, and title them like this:[prompt, pairing, rating, warnings] in the heading of the comment. There's no assigned posting times or deadlines, so you can post 'em as you write 'em!
You don't have to have participated in the exchange to take part in the lightening round! Anon commenting will be enabled so anon participants should also be able to take part. It's low stakes, so if you can only write one drabble based on your prompt, that's absolutely fine. 10 drabbles? Fine too! Real life gets in the way and you can't write at all? We get it.
If there are any questions we haven't answered just comment below and we'll try to answer them right away! Otherwise, that's it! Lightning Drabble Round starts now, and runs until 9/13! Hwaiting!!!

Yongguk took a deep breath, he was nervous. He sighed when he saw Youngjae he bit his lip thinking of the boy's reaction to the letter that was left in the locker. Youngjae just walked past, holding his history book, he must've got the letter. He made eye contact with Yongguk but just carried on to his seat, leaning to give his best friend a hug. Yongguk felt a slight pang of jealousy, he wanted to be the person Youngjae came to school to see. He wanted to kiss the boy against his locker, having to pull away just because Youngjae was late for class, and he really had to go to. Yongguk sighed as a teacher came into the room. He just looked at the front, he could hear the teacher but all he could think of was Youngjae.
Youngjae had slimmed down recently, but Yongguk had wanted to date him when he was chubbier, he'd wanted to date him when the other kids made fun of him, when they picked him last for the sports teams, when they told him he was ugly, Yongguk thought he was beautiful. He wanted to make him his, he had missed his chance when he heard at a party Youngjae had kissed another boy, although it made him happy to know the boy was also into guys. He wished he'd been the guy that had been kissed.
Yongguk sighed as Youngjae got up and left the class. Still no words, no sign that he'd read the letter, or that he reciprocated the feelings that Yongguk had poured his heart into. Yongguk got up and smiled when he saw his twin standing by his locker. He looked at him and then looked down. "so you're gay" Yongnam said quietly.
"what?" Yongguk said quietly.
"You confessed to Youngjae from your history class." Yongguk looked at his twin. "Are you gay?"
"Yes" Yongguk said quietly. Yongnam moved and gave his twin a tight hug. "But seeing as the school knows and he hasn't talked to me I'm thinking I'm getting rejected, so it doesn't really matter who I like."
"It matters to me" Yongnam says quietly. "If anyone says anything I'll beat them up. No one picks on my little brother."
"We're twins, it's really not that much difference."
"Oh yeah, Natasha knows too." Yongnam said quietly, "Someone told her best friends sister and she sent a text to her like did you know Natasha's brother is gay." Yongguk felt his heart sink a little. "She's not going to tell mom or day you know?"
"Doesn't matter, he doesn't like me." Yongguk said leaning against his locker, and looking over to Youngjae's locker, meeting eyes with Youngjae who just looked at him and then away. Yongguk sighed and his twin looked over.
"Go over and talk to him" Yongnam said pushing Yongguk in the direction of Youngjae. His feet felt like lead and he thought he was going to have a heart attack before he even got to the boy.
"I.. left you a letter and I'm sorry if you don't like me back but you didn't have to tell everyone and then say no, without telling me" Yongguk said, looking down. Youngjae just looked at Yongguk and sighed, moving a little, to lean and press a kiss to Yongguk's lips, it was a little hard, and rough as if Youngjae had never kissed anyone before in his life (which was true, he'd never kissed anyone sober.). Youngjae broke away when someone walking past made a comment.
"You didn't leave it in my locker, but someone photocopied it and put it up all over the school." Youngjae mumbled. "I didn't see it until like 5 minutes ago." Youngjae said quietly "and I have liked you since I first got a crush on someone and I was 11 when I noticed you and I remember one time you were upset because your twin was always seen as the 'hot' twin but I really wanted to tell you that day that you were the best looking twin. And then I just started liking you more as we got older." He moved awkwardly, "and I'm sorry that kiss-" he was shut up by a kiss from Yongguk, this was gentler, an arm wrapped around his waist. Youngjae kissed back, wrapping his arms around Yongguk's neck. "I want to be your boyfriend" Youngjae said breathless when he pulled back. Yongguk leaned for another kiss.
"Sorry Gukkie, I have to get to chemistry." he said with a laugh and a kiss pressed to the boys cheek. "see you at lunch, try to get the original of the letter back I really want it." he said playfully.
