The day is finally here!! It’s December 10th (in most of the world :P) and Author Signups for TBB Round Four are open! Please go to our AO3 page for a lot more info on how to sign up and how everything will work this time around. We’re really excited and we hope that you’ll join us and decide to write for TBB 4 :D

In celebration of B.A.P's comeback, The Brownie Bunch Fic Fest is back! The venue and format of the fest are going to be a little bit different this time, so please read on for a brief summary. This is not a sign-up post ... just a head's up of how things will work this time.

This round of TBB will be an anonymous prompt-meme style fest hosted at Archive Of Our Own (AO3). This means that if you are going to participate as a writer you will need an AO3 account. The mods will make a limited number of AO3 invite codes available, but you can get a jump on the process by requesting an invite code now. You should get your invite code within a week or so.

Below is a brief rundown of the important dates for this round of TBB:

12/10 - All we'll need at this time is your name, contact information, and whether or not you need an AO3 invite (which you won't if you request one now!). We'll also ask if you want to participate in a random giveaway we're holding for participants. We'll be giving away some awesome B.A.P goodies, including some copies of WY&F!!

12/21 - 12/30 - Prompting is open. All prompts will be anonymous and you do not need to have signed up as a writer in order to leave a prompt, and visa versa. Prompting will also done via AO3, but we'll provide an option for those of you without AO3 accounts to submit prompts via email as well.

1/2 - 1/16 - Claiming is open! Everyone who signed up up as an author can claim their first prompt. Prompts can only be claimed by one person on a first come first serve basis. The minimum word count for this round is 500 and the max is 5000. You can post your story as soon as you are finished, but all stories are anonymous when they are initially posted. If you've finished one story, you can claim a second prompt!

1/23 - The big reveal! All fills must be posted by 1/23, and we'll reveal all the awesome authors who have participated in round 4 :)

TLDR: You claim a prompt and have 3 weeks (1/2 - 1/23) to write a story based on that prompt that is at least 500 but no more than 5000 words.

What do you need to do now? Start thinking of prompts! Follow our new tumblr! Go and read some of the awesome fic from the first three rounds! And if you wrote in one of the first three rounds, you can add your story to the appropriate collection on AO3. (To add your fic, edit your story on AO3 and type in ‘The Brownie Bunch’ in the ‘add to collection’ box. Pick the right round and voila!)

The Brownie Bunch is a non-scheduled and non-seasonal mini exchange. Everyone (your mods not least of all) has put in a ton of work for this round, so we're going to take a break, but keep your eye on this community for news about Round 4 .... some day!
